About Us

Our Vision

Yarloop CRC will be invested, integrated and indispensable in our community.  The centre will be recognised as a "go to, can do, with you" hub in Yarloop.

In June 2017, the Yarloop Community Resource Centre set up base in the Yarloop Sports Pavilion after losing their premises in the 2016 Yarloop Fire. Over the time of the fire, the CRC staff were able to provide their support and expertise by working alongside the Shire and the Harvey Bushfire Recovery Centre. With the support of the Harvey Shire and the local community, the CRC staff are happy to provide the community with many of the services that were lost in the fire.

In November 2019, the Yarloop CRC moved to the new Yarloop Community Centre on Station Street. The new centre includes a function room that can seat 160 people, a commercial kitchen, two hot offices, medical practitioner's room, shop front, computer/ training room, manager's office, reception area, alfresco area and a laundromat.

The Yarloop Community Resource Centre is part of the state wide Community Resource Network. These centres are locally-owned and operated, providing regional communities and their visitors with access to technology, information and community services.

The Western Australia Community Resource Network (WACRN) builds on one of Western Australia’s longest running and most successful regional community service programs, the Telecentre program begun in 1991.

The Opening hours of our Centre are 9am - 3pm, Monday to Friday.
